Marketing and Distribution :
Where, when, how many, and in what stores books are distributed is based on numerous variables. Bluebird will work with each author to determine what level of distribution is the best fit for each book project.

Here is an overview of the marketing services we offer:
1. Publicity
Nobody buys a book they've never heard of or don't know anything about. Consumers have to be made aware of the book and be interested in the subject or be interested in you. A professional press release sent to targeted media outlets is a basic necessity. Many times the story is not the book but who wrote the book. A proper photo and the right spin on a story sent to the right person at the right place can make all the difference. Easier said than done!  But don’t worry, Bluebird offers numerous publicity services designed to help all our clients.

2. Promotions and Events
Bluebird will work with you to help set up your own unique event to launch your book release or to create a buzz about your book. Remember, even though we send professional press releases to numerous media outlets, we cannot guarantee media coverage. But this we can guarantee: if you do nothing, nothing will happen.

3. Book Signings
Book signings at bookstores are not just a publicity event. They are designed for authors to meet consumers who have already heard about the book and want it autographed for themselves and as a gift. Signings at bookstores have to be promoted by the author to consumers, friends and everyone the author knows.

4. Consultation
Many authors want an analysis or review of their book project before they submit or even start. A consultation will offer you a better perspective of what you are getting into, what costs to expect and how much time it could take. We offer a private consultation for up to one hour for $75.00.

Costs for each project are determined based on the time and expenses involved. We will provide a quote when you tell us which services interest you. If you accept, you will then sign a contract and pay a 50% deposit. We then create the press release and draft a plan for the other services you asked for, which you will then approve. Upon payment of the balance, we get to work! You will be provided with a Re-Cap Report of the progress of your project.
