All design packages services include the review of two proofs of the cover and inside layout, preparation of files for printing, ISBN registration and barcode for back cover, and registration of Library of Congress cataloging-in-publication data.
Simple color design of cover (for authors supplying the interior layout): $795.00
Includes cover design using author-provided design components (cover image and back cover copy).
Text-only layout and simple color design of cover: $995.00
Includes cover design using author-provided design components (cover image and back cover copy) and inside layout of a text-only book.
Advanced layout (photographs/illustrations) and simple color design of cover: $1195.00
Includes design of cover using author-provided design components (cover image and back cover copy) and inside layout of text and up to 25 illustrations/photographs.
Retail-specific color design of cover and advanced layout: $1395.00
Includes marketing-approved color design of cover using author-provided cover design components and inside layout of text with up to 25 illustrations/photographs.
Complex layouts involving more than 25 photos/illustrations or particular cover design needs will be priced on an individual basis. Additional services, such as illustration work, will also be priced based on the complexity of the project.
